Our Community Program & Services
In Houston, many non-profit organizations and communities have done their best at meeting the ever-changing needs of our children, youth, and elders. Unfortunately, the needs of the Houston community are very vast and cannot be tackled by a few organizations alone. To help provide additional community resources and programs, AWF is doing its part.
Over the past year, AWF has partnered with many local and national organizations in order to deliver great programs that enrich the lives of our children, our youth, and our elders. Some of these program have included:
- Free COVID-19 drive-thru screenings
- Community Family Night programs
- Community book clubs
- Art festivals
- Community Fall festivals
- CPR Trainings
- Community Prayer Services
- EID Prayers

Community Masjid
For the heart of our community, The House of Allah- Masjid. Easily accessible, the community prayer center will be the focal point of the community. Our community masjid provides the following services to the community:
- Daily congregational prayers
- Jummah prayers
- Funeral services
- Matrimonial services
- Community health clinic
- Zakat services
- Youth programs
- Community social service programs
Brighter Horizons Academy - Houston
One of our core goals at AWF is to provide a robust and state of the art education to the greater Houston community. With this mission in mind, we have partnered with Brighter Horizons Academy of Houston to provide this incredible service.
Brighter Horizons Academy aims to develop practicing faith-based leaders who are lifelong learners that serve their diverse community and global society as respectful citizens.
Our mission will be achieved through educational excellence within a healthy learning environment and strong collaboration with positive interaction amongst the school, students, parents, and the community.

BHA-Houston campus spans over 60K SQ FT and has an additional 20K SQ FT of enclosed courtyards and playgrounds. The campus spans over 7 acres and consists of 25 classrooms and accompanying offices.

Sports facilities, walkable footpaths, and acres of lush green lawn promote active and engaged lifestyles for the whole family. Outdoor soccer fields and basketball courts provide a secure area for active living. An indoor gymnasium provides an air-conditioned option for those opting out of our Houston heat!

The center will include meeting rooms, conference areas, a main hall, and gymnasium to service the needs of our entire community. Courtyards and walkways create an outdoors communal space as well.
